There is definitely food for thought from Eric’s video, some companies may be of the opinion that paying for a coach is too costly, whereas it has been proved time and time again that the right kind of coaching turns out to be an investment rather than purely a cost.
Schmidt is right. One thing none of us is good at is seeing ourselves as others see us. This is an excellent example of the value of a coach.
Another area where I think a business coach adds value is providing a space for business owners to step away from the business for a period of time, and focus on high-level issues. In addition to providing the space to do this, a coach also makes sure it happens despite whatever crisis happens to have arisen that day.
